Tara Evans was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand and attended Auckland University, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts before moving to Australia and adding a Master’s in Human Resource Management at the Edith Cowan University, in Perth, Western Australia.
She lives in Perth with her husband, who is also an author and working on his first sci-fi novel, and their tabby cat.
Since graduating from university Tara has worked as a Retail Manager, but it is writing and the desire to tell stories that has always been her true passion. In her novels on contemporary romantic fiction she likes to explore a variety of themes and fantasies.
In her spare time, Tara enjoys reading, writing, watching movies and cycling. She is also keen on fashion and travel features in her life as much as time allows, with her adventurous side being brought out with a helicopter ride to the top of Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak at more than 12,000 feet.
It is Tara’s hope that she will one day become a full-time, best-selling writer and be able to travel the world, attending book writing conferences and getting inspiration from the places she visits and the people she meets.
